Why Emily decided to serve as a LSN project lead: I wanted take this opportunity to give back to my community in support of LSN, to show how appreciative I am of the opportunities I have been given because of the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship.
Plans for the LSN Give Back Initiative: We are going to hold a Lilly Scholars Reunion Dinner and use it as an opportunity to collect school supplies to donate to the local elementary schools.
Hobbies: I have 2 sons, so they are my favorite hobby. I also like to spend time with the rest of my family, volunteer and participate in my favorite exercise class, Zumba!
Employment: I work as the lead logistician for an Unmanned Air Vehicle at NSWC Crane. I’ve worked there about 10 years.
Fun fact: I volunteer as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) in Greene County.
