Hometown: Mount Vernon, IN (Posey County)
University: Wabash College; Washington University in St. Louis
Major: BA Psychology, Doctor of Physical Therapy
Favorite LSN service project: Wheeler Mission Indianapolis at the 2016 Leadership Retreat
Why you decided to serve as a LSN project lead: After co-founding the organization, I had to step away from my duties as I was heading off to graduate school in another state. I chose to become a project lead in order to reconnect with the LSN team and give back to IN and the county/state that have given so much to me.
Plans for the LSN Give Back INitiative: We plan to work with the local Parks and Recreation department in order to assist with the restoration and cleanup of a local “Imagination Station” for kids. It is an outdoor playground located at the Public Library and is available to all kids in our community. It's for the kids!
Hobbies: I love to spend time with my gorgeous wife, Laura, and my beautiful daughter, Elliana! They mean the world to me! We love the outdoors, and I am a sports enthusiast. I love to play ball, stroll/ride through the park, and soak up some sunshine!
Future plans: With regards to LSN, I have plans of helping the current alumni board increase involvement with alumni scholars for LSN and increase awareness for the organization. I have plans to develop myself professionally as well, increasing my business coaching background and seeking new ways to provide innovative learning to practitioners in the healthcare field.
Fun fact: I cried more than my wife on our wedding day.
